Utterly fantastic people. Owner is amazing. Have been doing business with him for years. Bought my very first Camper from him. A couple months ago I was heading South from Michigan with a 16,000 lb 5th wheel on my truck when my transmission went out at a nearby rest area. Owner let me use his own personal Ford pickup to retrieve the 5th Wheel and my pickup from the rest area and tow them back to his dealership for safe keeping until I could come after them with another truck. Amazing service. They can fix anything!
As for there work u may ask??? After repairing my a/c unit it failed again the following season. After doing some investigating on my own I find they had repaired it with old and out dated parts in which are likely to fail . When I inquired to the owner about this he replied that they have a lot of old stock that in some cases is over 5 years old and that they do not consult the manufacturer about new and updated equipment!
So to my fellow rv owners out there save yourself some hassle and go somewhere else! I know I will.
WARNING TO ALL RV OWNERS!! It is absolutely useless to make an appointment because it will sit there for days and weeks untouched. Furthermore the thought of calling to see how the progress is coming also is a waste of time. The lady answering the phone has a list of excuses as long as my rv is. From there's no one here yet "1030 in the am" to everybody is out sick, to my favorite "there all out on a parts run".
They don't return phone calls. The service department seems to always be unavailable. There seems to be only one person in service, and they are always "out" getting parts. Return calls as promised. Lost my business!
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff throughout the company. Helped to 'Coach' me through my buying my first camper and shortly after an extensive storm damage repair. They dealt with filing the ins est and repaired my first baby (Sunseeker-class c) to like new. That has been several years now and I still use them today. In my experience many repair shops try to make an easy buck on solo female rvers but Customers First RV has always made sure Im comfortable with the repairs and the price. Good guys and gals.. Only complaint is their isn't more like them..:)
I don't like having to write negative reviews, but there's something very wrong with this company.
They seemed pleasant enough at first, but the people at this RV dealership clearly have forgotten how to conduct business properly. Regrettably, this has cost them my business and I cannot recommend them to anyone.
We had received several good recommendations from friends, so decided to give them a try. We dropped off our motorhome to have a few fresh water system problems fixed, as well as get quotes for other repairs. We knew they were busy so we weren't concerned about getting it back right away. However, after about 7 days we began calling to find out when we could expect to get our RV back. We called 8 times, and each time we were told to either call back later or that they would call us. They never returned any of our calls. Today, on day 12, we went there and retrieved our motorhome. It had not been repaired. However, there are now large stains on the (admittedly old) carpet on the doghouse (engine cover inside) and someone either used the toilet or put something foul in it that I had to flush with bottled water because the fresh water tank was still empty.
